Golf carts are the preferred form of transportation in Bear Point. Ride to watch the sunset with your neighbors, or go eat at the waterfront restaurant, OSO, at Bear Point Harbor.

    Tucked away off the beaten path is this quiet neighborhood where you can walk, ride your bike. or take your golf cart to the marina. The marina has a beautiful view of calm water and slips filled with different types and sizes of boats. Book a Dolphin Tour boat here. Flippers Restaurant is a must where you can eat in or outside. Have a cocktail and catch some live music at The Bent Oar. If you're into Bushwhackers you have to try these. The homemade ice cream recipe is well...need I say more? Visit the marina store, gas up the boat, or purchase those few forgotten last minute boat items. It's a small dock with lots of activity going on! Come see for yourself.

    Flipper's Seafood & Oyster Bar is located on Perdido Bay in Orange Beach. You can enjoy fresh seafood anyway you like it at Flippers, grilled, steamed, blackened, broiled, or fried. Blackened is my favorite!
    It is a great place for families or friends to gather and you can go by boat or car. If you happen to live in Bear Point Estates then walking or biking is the best way to travel. Also, you get to enjoy all the boats coming and going from the marina while you are there. Great local secret and worth a visit!

    Bear Point Is A Great Neighborhood!
    I love living in Bear Point, it is a wonderful neighborhood. Located at the east end of Orange Beach, Bear Point is a quiet water front community where neighbors watch out for each other, kids play outside, and there are more golf carts than cars. Bear Point boasts a swimming and fishing pier on the bay, a marina, dock store, boat launch, and of course Flippers Restaurant. I walk to Flippers Bar and Grill at least once a week for nachos and live music. There is always free ice cream for the kids at Flippers. Bear Point is only two miles from Orange Beach Elementary School which makes it very convenient for families with little ones. Bear Point is an affordable neighborhood for Orange Beach families.
