When visiting the Alabama Gulf Coast, it is worth the drive to Magnolia Springs to eat at Jesse's. The setting under a canopy of trees with twinkle lights in the evening sets the atmosphere for some of the best food in Baldwin County. Steaks and seafood plus fabulous gourmet desserts are on the menu every day for lunch and dinner! Come and enjoy. Reservations are accepted.

The town of Magnolia Springs is located along the beautiful banks of Magnolia River in Baldwin County. The fresh water from the town's natural springs has been called some of the "purest in the world" and the roads are shaded by the canopies of large majestic oak trees. Magnolia Springs is almost as well known for its beautiful historic district with Southern homes as it is for having the only mail delivery made by water. That's right - the mail is delivered by boat! Magnolia Springs is conveniently located only minutes away from Foley and Fairhope's great shopping and dining. It's a small town with big appeal!

The city of Magnolia Springs looks like something out of an old Southern movie. The oak trees that line the streets form a natural canopy that makes the area perfect for biking or taking a late afternoon stroll. Magnolia Springs is rife with history, shopping, and out-of-this-world dining. The city's crown jewel, however, is the Magnolia Springs Bed & Breakfast; a romantic getaway that is so charming, you'll find yourself never wanting to step outside the door.

The original woodwork and stained glass through the house is part of the structure's charm. The home was built in 1800 and has passed hands, but has always stayed intact through ongoing care and restoration. Rooms such as the Harding Suite and Worthington room were named after previous owners. The establishment offers lush accommodations, breakfast gatherings for all guests, and massage therapy packages. It's a perfect getaway for couples that just want some time to unwind in a private, cozy setting.

    Magnolia Springs, AL
As a sixteen year resident of Magnolia Springs, I can say without question it is truly one of the most charming and unique communities anywhere. Before the days of air conditioning, Magnolia Springs was a popular resort because of the curative waters of the natural springs. Visitors would travel from all over to Mobile and catch the ferry to Magnolia Springs. Today, Magnolia Springs is less of a resort than a charming residential community, where homes along the river still get their mail delivered by boat.
