If you are looking for a place to spend a beautiful North Alabama fall day with your family, then Tate Farms in Meridianville is the place to be. It's a place I look forward to taking my kids each year during pumpkin season.

Since 1968 Tate Farms has been a special place in our community and in 1996 they introduced 15 acres of what is known as their Cotton Pickin' Pumpkins. Today, with 72 acres of pumpkins, Tate Farms has grown to much more than just a place to go pick pumpkins. The activities on the farm include a fun hayride to the pumpkin fields to pick a fresh pumpkin off the vine, pedal carts, a petting zoo, a unique barnyard playground, corn cribs, two large jumping pillows, a hay maze, corn train rides, cotton jump, picnic areas, and two restaurant facilities. They also have the Country Store, Pumpkin & Vine, Cafe & Collectibles, antique farm equipment, and a huge produce shed for fall decor purchases. No matter the age, at Tate Farms there is something for everyone to enjoy!

The Farm is open to the public starting late September through October 31st Monday- Friday 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am- 6:00 pm. During the week before 2:00 pm they are closed for School Tours. During the off season you can now rent the facility for large and small events. You can learn more about Tate Farms at the link below! Be sure to print off your coupon for Tate Farms on the website that can be used Monday-Thursday!

Among other functions, the facility serves corporate owned aircrafts for easy transportation to and from distant destinations. The runway extends to 6,500 feet to accommodate executive jet travel. With the strategic location of the airport and the fast development of Madison County infrastructure, most Madison County ground designations can be reached within 25 minutes from the facility.
