Growing up in a small town has so many perks and I have looked forward to this tradition every year since I was a little girl! I was also happy to hear that our new "state of the art" hospital, Tanner Medical Center - East Alabama, will carry on the tradition of the now closed Wedowee Hospital with the Tree of Lights. The tradition allows any one to purchase a light for the tree in honor of, in remembrance of, or in recognition of someone special. Thank you to the Auxiliary of Tanner Medical Center for continuing this thoughtful tradition!
