Christi Mossburg

I absolutely love real estate and helping my buyers and sellers find the right place to call home. As a licensed Realtor in the State of Alabama since 2006, I understand the importance of being a professional at all times when it comes to meeting the special needs of each of my clients. Prior to being a Realtor, I owned and operated a full-service advertising and public relations firm. My unique abilities to market properties allow my sellers the opportunity of a first class marketing program designed to get homes sold.
As credentials are important to one’s success, I continuously look for avenues in which to better educate myself in order to provide my clients the highest possible service. I have been awarded the ABR – Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors. To receive my ABR designation, I had to complete a comprehensive course that focused on the buyer representation specialty, both in addition to submitting documentation verifying professional experience. As an ABR, my buyer’s are assured they receive service backed by experience.
I received my SRES Designation–Senior Real Estate Specialist – from the National Association of Realtors. To successfully earn this designation, I completed a comprehensive course in understanding the needs, considerations, and goals of real estate buyers and sellers aged 55 and older.
My AHWD Designation – At Home with Diversity - from the National Association of Realtors – was a comprehensive course designed to teach me as a real estate professional the importance of understanding the issues of diversity, fair housing, and cultural differences when it comes to purchasing a home. This educational program has helped me to better understand the changing face of the real estate industry. All three subjects are closely related and have value when serving my real estate clients.
I graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Marketing. I now serve on the University of South Alabama's National Alumni Association’s Board of Directors. Giving back to my University has been a very rewarding experience that has allowed me a great network of friends and professionals.
My other associations include Member, National Association of Realtors; Member, Baldwin County Board of Realtors; Member, Baldwin Multiple Listing Service; Member, Mobile County Board of Realtors; Member, Mobile Multiple Listing Service; Member, Women’s Council of Realtors.
As a multi-million dollar producer, I have won numerous production awards during my 8 years of real estate. An award I am most proud of is the Re/Max Cooperative Spirit award I won in 2012. This award is selected by your peers – those you work with in your real estate office. Being selected by those I work with was extremely meaningful to mean. I was also named Top Selling Individual Agent for Re/Max By the Bay for 2014.
And what is really meaningful in life? Certainly your family. I have a wonderful husband, Mike Mossburg who is a financial analyst. I have a son, Jason Whatley, who is a marketing director for a large corporation. A daughter-in-law who is a psychologist and equine therapist. And a daughter, Rachael Whatley, who just received her degree from the University of Alabama and is currently working for an advertising firm in Birmingham.
Families matter and that’s the business I am in – making families happy in a place called home. When you’re ready to give your dreams an address, give me a call at 251-510-1322 and/or shoot me an email at christi@christimossburg.com. I’m ready to move you.
