I've lived a lot of places -- California, Canada, Kentucky, Texas, Mississippi -- but my home is the Gulf Coast. Specifically, the Eastern Shore of the Mobile Alabama metro area. While it's not quite like my hometown of New Orleans -- then again, what is? -- it offers much of the same Coastal lifestyle.
Newspaper journalism brought me and my husband here in 1994. In fact, that move was my second experience in real estate, as I sold a home in Mississippi and bought one here, finding the latter in a weekend. Those corporate moves shaped how I practice real estate.
As a lifelong news junkie, I make it my business to know what's going on in Spanish Fort, Daphne, Fairhope and beyond as I help folks make those all important decisions when moving to what we call the Eastern Shore.
I specialize in Plain English about the housing market, price trends, new construction, homeowner's insurance and everything else that encompasses the decisions folks face when choosing that next home. And I've been doing that since I became a Realtor in 1998.
As a parent, I've been involved in both Daphne and Spanish Fort schools, bands, football and soccer. As a member of the community I helped build the Spanish Fort Kid's park and served on various committees at my church.
So what else?
-- I'm a so-so tennis player
-- I'm a better cook
-- I'm in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame (yep, there's the commercial)
-- My favorite nearby travel spots are New Orleans and Key West.
-- I've interviewed lots of people from Julia Child to U.S. Navy Secretary Ray Mabus.
-- I love the New Orleans Saints, Drew Brees and the Bless You Boys, but I will secondarily root for any Manning, as they went to my church in New Orleans.
So if I can help you find your next home -- or if you just want to discuss where Drew, Peyton and Eli rank in terms of quarterbacks -- just give me a shout.
