If we could give 10 stars we would! Amanda and Russell made purchasing our first home such a special experience. They answered every question we had in a timely manner and guided us along every step (and there’s a lot when purchasing a home lol) until we reached our closing! My father was very involved in the process as he is a mortgage guy himself and Amanda and Amy (First Federal) answered all of his questions too and were always so kind! Friendly, honest, smart, trustworthy, proactive and diligent are some words that come to mind when thinking about Amanda and Russell. We truly can’t thank them enough, but if you want a great home buying experience, Team Olive is the way to go!

Wow, I don't even know how to put my outstanding customer service rating into words. From the initial phone conversation with Amanda-yes, she called me on a weekend- I felt warmly welcomed and received plenty of information about the real estate process in Tuscaloosa. As out of town buyer this was especially important to me. Our email communication was outstanding. I received information needed and very well explained to me before starting our real estate journey together. Team Olive is honest and outspoken, which is exactly what I was looking for. The online platform they had created for me helped to narrow down house showing options tremendously. I felt heard with my needs and interests and not run over by having houses shown to me over the budget I had set aside for this purchase. I got thankfully more than plenty of information about the area, the locals, and were connected with anybody needed for necessary home repairs, as well as an outstanding loan officer (First National Bank Amy Mims) The home inspection process was lead and managed by team Olive so that we did not feel too overwhelmed. Well, I had many inspections to say the least. They stayed in constant contact, engaged me in every little decision, lead negotiations with a very difficult seller and seller's real estate agent by constantly following up and pushing to get the best deal possible. We had lots of ups and downs due to the extremely challenging process to deal with the seller and their agent and without Team Olive we would never have bought our dream house. They even did the work for the seller's agent as well. If you want somebody who really listens, cares for your home happiness and helps you to get integrated into the community, go Team Olive!!! We owned a home in Northport Alabama for 13 years, our kids attended and graduated from UA. This beautiful home was safe and in a great community. After graduation they moved from Northport, so we rented our home out for 8 years. As much as we did not want to sell, we no longer could justify keeping the house. We live in Northern Illinois, we knew that we could not be hands on during updates and the sale of our home. Amanda also stayed in touch with contractors to get completion dates. I am a serious control individual, to release and let someone else work in my space was very hard for me. Two weeks into a six week renovation, Amanda and Russell put my mind and heart at ease. On the first day our house went live, we had 3 offers. No home in our subdivision has ever sold at this price, Team Olive was responsible for this. They are a great team that will be with you throughout the purchase or sale of your home. This team came recommended to us by a realtor/friend in Columbus, MS. We worked with the Olives over several months to purchase a home for my wife and I, and another property for my son and his family. Not an easy search nor closing process but the Olives were there through it all to make sure everything went well and we did not go crazy. Highly recommend this team!
